  1. Do you still have the pattern for the Flirt Skirt and where can it be bought?
    Thanks, Mickey

  2. I am a 3X or 4X size shirt man. Never made a shirt. Have sewing equipment and experience. Will your Classic Tailored Shirt program be able to work for me and my large size?
    Thank you

    1. I noticed your question and know that keeping up with a blog is extra work. I have taken Pam's class, and loved it. However, I am what most would call an advanced beginner. You will love Pam's class, and if anyone could walk you through making a shirt, it is Pam Howard. Now, this is construction. I am signing up for her jacket fit class (because fit affects everything, so I'll use it for shirts and skirts, too). Since you indicated you have some sewing experience, you should be fine. Start with muslin, so if you have fit issues, or need to cut another piece (I've done that) you didn't use up your good fabric. Good luck!

  3. Hi Pam,
I have a question on your Modern Jacket Technique class. I would like to make a coat that is styled like a jacket. I wish to learn how to use horsehair canvas for the collar and sew it in by hand. Do you use this technique or fusible interfacing? Thanks. I love your classes!

  5. Pam,
I don't know how to say 'thank you' enough. I enrolled in your tailored shirt class through Caftsy and you have empowered me. I taught myself to sew as a teenager . I mainly made a few dresses and clothes for my daughter but nothing too advanced. After watching your class, I jumped right in with two feet. I have since made three tailored shirts for my husband, a 1950's pattern (that I had to alter) princess cut dress for me, and I feel as though I could sew anything! Not only did you hold my hand through the tailored shirt, but you empowered me to believe that I can sew anything! Thank you!!! I have your voice in my head head as I sew "Cardinal sin, you sewed over a pin! ".

I am hoping that this is the best place to let you know what a difference you made :) Terry
